Job Description
A Post‑doctoral associate in molecular biology, NGS sequencing, bioinformatics, and nanopore sequencing will work under the supervision of Dr. Feng Tang in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. The role involves leveraging sequencing and proteomics techniques to study how DNA damage induced by environmental exposure and endogenous metabolism contribute to cancer and aging‑related diseases.
The position will be initially awarded for one year and, contingent upon strong performance, conduct, and availability of funds, may be renewed for up to three years.
