Schedule Details/Additional Information
Candidate should be available to float to multiple locations. There is a 12-hour shift requirement and ability to work weekends.

Pay Range
$19.80 - $29.70

This position is not eligible for concurrent employment for internal teammates who work full time. It is not a weekend-only position; weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage are required.

Essential Functions

Exemplify caring and compassionate customer service to create an excellent patient experience.

Provide exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to interact with patients and families in a wide variety of sensitive situations.

Demonstrate critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in an often-hectic environment, working cohesively on a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, and arrival/departure desk activities according to standards and guidelines to ensure accuracy and an outstanding patient experience.

Encourage patient utilization of front-end technology during the registration process.

Enter and maintain confidential and accurate patient information, including insurance, billing, and payment data throughout the patient encounter; assist billing functions accurately or direct to the appropriate billing office.

Demonstrate proficiency with emergency codes and appropriate responses, as well as applicable federal and state healthcare regulations.

Monitor inventory and stock of medications, narcotics, and emergency medications/equipment.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced office environment. Should be able to bend and lift up to 10 lbs.

Education, Experience And Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Computer experience and customer relations experience required. Experience with medical records software and front‑desk practice preferred.
