Dementia Care Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Dementia Program workplan; project management; and staff management. Responsibilities include assisting the Dementia Care Program Director with day‑to‑day operations, program scheduling, data organization, reporting, and partner communications. The role also involves grant writing, compliance, reporting, outreach to tribal communities, dementia education, presentations, training, organizing meetings and community listening sessions, and preparing reports for Tribal Nations and funders.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Conduct grant writing, compliance, and reporting activities essential for funding.
Conduct outreach with tribal communities.
Provide dementia education, presentations, and training as needed and requested.
Organize meetings and community listening sessions.
Prepare reports for Tribal Nations and funders.
Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Working Relationships And Scope
Reports directly to the Dementia Care Program Director. Maintains regular contact with GLITEC and GLITC staff, Tribal Health staff, cultural practitioners, and tribal community partners.

Demonstrates basic understanding of tribal customs, traditions, values, and beliefs; ensures quality, accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness of work; maintains strong communications; adheres to policies; displays integrity and professionalism; and contributes to GLITC's mission to enhance the quality of life for all Native people.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Needs a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Science, or healthcare administration with at least two years of project management experience.
Preferred experience in elder care, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia‑related public health programs.
Understanding of cultural, social, and systemic factors affecting elders in Tribal communities and traditional American Indian health issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a program team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional demeanor, problem‑solving, time‑management, self‑motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to build positive relationships and speak in front of groups.
Proficiency in statistical calculations and complex report writing.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with the ability to travel frequently.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a full‑time exempt position requiring Monday – Friday attendance at our Green Bay, Wisconsin office. Salary range is $55,000 – $61,000 annually, dependent on education and experience. Benefits include annual/personal leave, holiday pay; health, dental, life & AD&D, STD, and LTD insurance; FSA and 401(k) retirement plan. Background check required prior to employment.
