Position Summary & Highlights
We are seeking a Central Processing Tech for our Treasure Valley Labs located in Boise, Idaho. This is a

Part‑time, Evening Shift

position Monday through Friday. In this role you can make a difference by applying your current phlebotomy/Lab Tech experience and skills.

What You Will Do

Perform and coordinate the activities of the central processing area of the clinical laboratory.

Accountable for the quality and quantity of all inpatient and outpatient clinical laboratory specimens sent for in‑house testing as well as to reference laboratories.

Handle billing functions for reference laboratories.

Register patient specimens received from outside locations.

Work cooperatively with TVL laboratories for all specimens received for testing.

Serve as a resource for all clinical staff regarding laboratory test questions and ordering tests in the EMR.

Report directly to the POCT Laboratory Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Some college education or associate degree preferred.

Courses requiring lab work a plus.

Prior experience working in a hospital setting or reference laboratory preferred.

Schedule & Compensation
Part time, 20 hours per week. Market‑competitive pay, generous PTO, and comprehensive benefits beginning on day one.
