Pediatrician OpportunityLocation: Pocatello, ID - Salt Lake City 160mEmployment Type: Full-Time, permanent position Position OverviewSeeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatrician to provide comprehensive care for patients from newborn through adolescence in a community health setting. This role offers a blend of clinical care, leadership, and program development, with a strong focus on serving underserved populations. Schedule Full-time schedule (clinic-based) Includes on-call coverage as assigned Position Highlights Outpatient pediatric care within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model Opportunity to supervise APPs and mentor residents/students Leadership role in quality initiatives and clinical workflow development Mission-driven organization focused on community and underserved populations Flexibility to support multiple clinic locations as needed Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive pediatric care (newborn-18 years) Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Deliver preventive care, screenings, and immunizations Maintain hospital privileges and coordinate inpatient care as needed Participate in call rotation (if applicable) Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Ensure compliance with quality measures and reporting standards Leadership & Program Responsibilities Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Mentor residents and healthcare students Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Support development of clinical workflows and care models Conduct chart reviews and evaluate quality of care Present educational topics to provider teams Collaborate with leadership on clinical goals and operations Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics Active or eligible Idaho medical license DEA certification PALS certification required Strong interest in community health and underserved populations Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience in community health or FQHC setting Practice Environment Team-based, collaborative care model Integrated services including behavioral health and outreach programs Focus on quality, access, and population health Community Located in southeastern Idaho with access to outdoor recreation, family-friendly living, and a lower cost of living Ideal for physicians seeking meaningful impact in a community-focused setting
