Travel Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC)(Days)

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced

Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Long Term Care (LTC)

for a 13-week travel assignment in Mound City, MO.

M-F, 8 hr days- Times are flexible as long as consistent and communicated with DOR. We do ask the therapists start time is before 6AM and no later than 10AM./35 GWW

Non-taxed Stipend:

$1246.00

Weekly Total Pay:

$2,236.00

Weekend Requirements: No weekends unless a holiday falls within M-F, then they can make the hours up on the weekend.

Non-billable hours: 8 hours

Key Responsibilities

Effectively screens/evaluates/rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.

Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

Assess patient’s progress and adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.

Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to speech disorders.

Effectively communicates with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.

Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.

Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy

Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided per all regulatory and clinical requirements.

Participation in required meetings including but not limited to: patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, rehabilitation meetings, etc.

Participate in facility and company required training, in-services and conferences.

Able to obtain any necessary DME or supplies per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.

Able to supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists

Adherence to ASHA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, ethics during professional practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Compensation

Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Pay package details provided upon offer

Requirements

1 year of SLP experience is required

New Grads OKAY- as long as a Level II experience and not just a Level I observation experience

LTC or Rehab experience is required

MO State License is required

CCC certified SLP is required

3 years experience holding active CCS is preferred

Will accept one Reference at time of submission

Must be submitted at the posted rate, if requested rate is higher candidate will be redirected

Missouri State License Requirements is required

Active ASHA and State Licensures is required

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability

Drug screen and background check (facility required)
