This experienced Change Manager Consultant will proactively support a major transformation initiative. This role plays a critical part in enabling successful change adoption through strong communications, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. The Change Manager will partner closely with cross‑functional teams and leadership to ensure clarity, alignment, and transparency throughout the early and critical phases of the program. This role is well‑suited for a consultant who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, building structure where needed, and independently driving change workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Complete outstanding discovery activities to inform, validate, and refine the overall change management approach.

Develop, guide, and socialize a Change Management and Communications Strategy, driving it through stakeholder review and approval with a strong emphasis on engagement and message effectiveness.

Own the communications and engagement strategy, including the development of supporting artifacts such as:

Communication plans and timelines

Leadership and all‑hands content

Newsletters and targeted stakeholder messaging

Identify and assess change impacts across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring impacts are clearly documented and communicated.

Build and maintain strong cross‑functional and leadership relationships, serving as a trusted partner during the early phases of the transformation.

Lead and coordinate communications to proactively inform stakeholders of:

Project progress and milestones

Anticipated change impacts

Key decisions and implications

Proactively identify, elevate, and communicate risks and issues, ensuring visibility, alignment, and timely mitigation.

Support overall program delivery by bringing structure, foresight, and a change‑first mindset to project planning and execution.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience in change management, communications, or organizational transformation, ideally within complex or large‑scale initiatives.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences and leadership levels.

Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence across all levels of an organization, including senior leaders.

Strong risk awareness with a track record of identifying, communicating, and escalating risks and issues effectively.

Experience with stakeholder engagement and change impact analysis strongly preferred.

Consulting experience and a true consultant mindset.

Ability to work independently and with teams.

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the hourly pay range is $68 to $75/HR depending on experience. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
