We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team on a travel basis. What You Will Do:
  • Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement personalized physical therapy care for outpatient patients, primarily focusing on orthopedic and neurological cases.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations by reviewing patient charts, collaborating with physicians, and recognizing individual needs.
  • Develop measurable, realistic treatment goals and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress.
  • Operate in a 1:1 patient ratio, providing attentive care every 45 minutes.
  • Utilize appropriate equipment, educate patients and families, and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in testing, assessments, and decision-making to optimize patient recovery.

Required Skills:
  • Valid Texas Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Doctorate preferred.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Strong assessment skills with the ability to recognize additional patient needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with orthopedic and neurological patient populations.
  • Prior outpatient therapy experience.
  • Ability to adapt to various clinical settings and patient needs.
  • Basic familiarity with telehealth or electronic health records.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Doctorate preferred.
  • At least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience, preferably in orthopedic and neuro settings.
  • Active licensure and certifications as specified.

Other Requirements:
  • Travel flexibility to accommodate outpatient facilities within the service area.
  • Availability for daytime shifts (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), with early Friday releases and options to compensate hours earlier in the week.
  • Willingness to work five days per week, 8-hour shifts.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.
  • Certification in CPR/BLS (AHA) mandatory.
