PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
Patient Demographics: Adult and Geriatric
Average Daily Volume / Census: High volume of interventional pain patients
Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes
Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: Comprehensive Interventional Pain Management including procedural-based care in procedure center, outpatient surgery center, and main operating room
FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
Beds in Department/Unit: 268-bed acute care facility
EMR System: Hospital EMR System (details available upon request)
Specialty Backup: Multispecialty medical and surgical support available
Support Staff: Dedicated nursing and procedural support teams
Leadership & Reporting Structure: Employed position within hospital medical staff structure
Reason for Opening: Growth and continued expansion of pain management services
CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
DEA & Certifications: Active DEA and required life support certifications
Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital credentialing timeline
Visa Sponsorship: No J-1 or H-1B sponsorship available

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Board Status: BC/BE in Pain Medicine
State License Required: Active Arkansas license or eligibility to obtain
Certifications: DEA and applicable procedural certifications
Experience: Interventional pain management experience preferred
Additional Requirements: Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver comprehensive interventional pain management services in outpatient and surgical settings
Perform image-guided and advanced interventional pain procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Participate in quality improvement and service line development initiatives
