JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active Texas medical license required
Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, ABEM preferred; FP/IM with EM experience considered
DEA: Active DEA for Texas required; CSR as applicable
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required
Other Qualifications: Must have license and board certification in hand at time of presentation
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent conditions
Collaborate with specialty backup and inpatient services
Document patient encounters accurately using EMR systems
Participate in a team-based staffing model to ensure continuous ED coverage
