COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: 8 hours regular daily pay + night call (0 gratis on weekdays; 2 gratis per 24-hour call on weekends)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Upper GI Endoscopy (Mandatory)

Lower GI Endoscopy (Mandatory)

Biopsy during Endoscopy/Colonoscopy (Mandatory)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Indiana license or IMLC

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

DEA: Active DEA Certification required

Certifications: BLS (AHA issued), ACLS (AHA issued)

Experience: Minimum 2 years post-residency experience preferred

Other Qualifications: Must enter orders in Epic; order entry and timekeeping via Vemsta platform; flu and COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology procedures as listed above

Manage inpatient GI consults, rounding, and treatment plans

Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for assigned dates

Enter clinical orders and maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Collaborate with hospital staff and support teams to ensure quality patient care

Attend mandatory in-person orientation before assignment start
