Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, delivering individualized, age‑specific, and direct bedside care in alignment with the nursing process and patient needs. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care planning and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and exercising independent judgment in directing other healthcare staff to provide safe, effective care.
Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, supporting patient goals and ensuring safety guidelines and work practices.
Promote safe and efficient patient throughput in a high‑volume acute care setting to optimize workflow and daily operations in a procedure‑driven facility.
Direct patient care, participate in hourly rounding, and supervise healthcare team members.
Qualifications
Special Skills
Enthusiastic new graduate nurses eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well within a team.
Prepared to adapt to a fast‑paced environment with occasional periods of above‑average pressure and demonstrate excellent customer service and basic computer skills.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: 1 year of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit.
Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
Certification: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona, BLS, ACLS required at time of hire.
Preferred Requirements
Experience: 2 years of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit.
Education: BSN.
Certification: PALS, CEN, TNCC.
Shift: 3 pm–3 am.
