Responsibilities
Provide direct obstetric and newborn care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients.
Monitor fetal status using external/internal fetal monitoring and respond to non‑reassuring patterns per protocol.
Assist with labor and delivery procedures; support the OB team; OB circulator experience preferred.
Administer medications, manage pain relief, and monitor maternal and neonatal status.
Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, neonatal, and other teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate documentation.
Requirements
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
Experience: Experienced L&D nurse; OB circulator experience preferred.
Skills: Proficient in intermediate fetal monitoring.
Ability to care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients in a hospital setting.
Willingness to work a day shift in a travel assignment.
