Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative and resident-focused therapy team. What You'll Do
Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions
Encourage residents through meaningful progress and personalized care
Accurately document services in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team
Create an encouraging, safe, and motivating environment for all residents
What We're Looking For
Active California PTA license
Prior skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but new grads are welcome
Strong communication skills and a positive, resident-centered approach
Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work well within a team
A passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence
