Role Overview
As a
Clinical Laboratory Scientist II , you will perform advanced diagnostic laboratory testing while supporting quality, compliance, and operational excellence within the laboratory. In this role, you will conduct moderate to high‑complexity testing, assist with training and orientation of testing personnel, and support continuous improvement initiatives across laboratory operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing advanced diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
Preparing reagents and reporting test results in accordance with established policies and procedures
Conducting moderate to high‑complexity testing
Maintaining laboratory systems, equipment, and supplies
Assisting with training and orientation of laboratory testing personnel
Evaluating competencies and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrating leadership in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
Performing other duties as assigned in support of laboratory operations
Qualifications
Education
Required:
Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or a related field
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience
Required:
2 Years of Clinical laboratory experience
Licensure / Certification
Required:
Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist
State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Technologist License
