Overview
The Life Enrichment Assistant supports the Activity Director in delivering therapeutic, recreational, and leisure activities tailored to residents\' needs and interests at Adams Heritage. Responsibilities include organizing both group and individual activities, assisting in volunteer training, and maintaining records of resident participation. The role involves personal interaction with residents and requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays. The position includes managing supplies, equipment, and the environment to ensure a safe and engaging atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Organize and facilitate group and individual activities aligned with residents\' needs and interests.
Assist in volunteer training and coordinate volunteers as needed.
Maintain records of resident participation and activity outcomes.
Interact professionally with residents to support a positive, engaging environment.
Manage supplies, equipment, and the activity environment to ensure safety and engagement.
Qualifications and Requirements
20 hours per week — First Shift
8:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Every Other Weekend
High School Diploma or GED
Experience working with senior groups, leading and assisting with group activities preferred
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
