Overview
Under the direct supervision of licensed clinical staff, assists the therapists in routine tasks for therapeutic treatment of patients. Assists the department supervisor/manager in coordinating the overall department’s function and maintenance.

$16.67 - $22.43
Responsibilities
CLERICAL DUTIES: Performs clerical duties to assist with daily operations of the department including scheduling, answering phones, calling patients, inventory, photocopying, filing, Medicare and CPM tracking, data collection, mail and faxes, etc.
ENVIRONMENT AND DEPARTMENT MAINTENANCE/INFECTION CONTROL: Assists in the maintenance of the department’s overall physical environment and infection control including cleaning equipment, temperature monitoring, pool chemistry, linen supply, area inspections.
TREATMENT: Provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate under the direct supervision of clinical staff.
DOCUMENTATION: Completes all documentation of services per department standards.
BILLING: Enters daily charges in a timely and accurate manner according to department standards.
Technology: Embraces technological solutions to work processes and practices.

Job Requirements
Minimum Education - Preferred
High School diploma/GED preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
One (1) year healthcare–related experience preferred.
Previous rehabilitation experience desirable.
Previous coursework, participation in work or volunteer experience in the area of health, fitness or athletics required.
Required Classes/Skills
BLS - Basic Life Support
Schedule
20 hours per week: Monday-Thursday 2pm-7pm
Licenses/Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
Instructor- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
