Anesthesiology Physician

Locum Tenens - Anesthesiologist

Location: Margate, FloridaSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start (end depends on leaving order)

• Full-time only
• Weeknight call: 1:8 (Beeper)
• Weekend call: 1:8 (In-house and Beeper)

Key Credentials & Licensing

• Board Certification: Required
• Residency: Anesthesiology required
• State License: Active Florida License required
• DEA: Active Florida DEA required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Clinical Responsibilities

• Case mix: General Surgery, Neuro, Spine, Thoracic, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, TEE, EP, IR
• OB deliveries: 100/month
• Required procedures: OB and basic regional blocks (TAP, Supraclavicular, Adductor Canal, Popliteal)
• Supervision: 60% supervising residents/APPs in OR or OB, 40% doing own cases

Practice Setting & Support

• Beds: 289
• ORs: 9 + 2 OB ORs, GI, TEE, EP, IR
• Average Monthly Cases: 800-900 ( 10,000/year)
• Support Staff: 14 CRNAs, 14 MDs
