Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts. Rotating Saturdays. One closing shift until 8 pm per week.

At Wellington Veterinary Clinic, we take pride in our medical practice and the exceptional team behind it. We are a mixed veterinary practice with five doctors (soon to be six) located in Wellington, Ohio, primarily treating dogs, cats, horses, small ruminants, and large ruminants. We handle a diverse range of cases, including preventive care, complex medical cases, routine and advanced surgeries, and dentistry. We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician who is eager to utilize their skills daily and is confident in surgery while continuing to learn and grow. What You’ll Contribute
Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
Knowledge of preventative care and vaccines
Attentive induction, monitoring, and recovery of surgical patients
Emergency and surgical care - including IV catheter placement and intubation
Obtaining diagnostics - including radiographs, phlebotomy, and sample collection, and performing in-house lab work
Professional, compassionate communication with clients and staff
Succinct documentation of patient records and client interactions
What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring
Current RVT License
Strong understanding of pharmacology and medication administration
Excellent patient handling skills, with a focus on Fear Free techniques
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
