Position

Summary: Our Behavioral Health Technician serves in a direct care role with the primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Located in Harford County, Maryland, our Joppa Inpatient program provides treatment paths for both men and women for substance use disorders, methamphetamine and other stimulant use, co-occurring disorders, and has a methadone maintenance program for opioid addiction.
Pay and Shift

Pay: $15/hour before shift differentials
Shift Options

2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Tuesday - Saturday
Shift Differentials

1st Shift (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00
2nd Shift (Monday - Friday) $1.00; (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
3rd Shift (Monday - Friday) $1.50; (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Complete the intake process with new clients into the program
Maintain client documentation
Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
Coordinate client activities
Follow the objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provide responses, including crisis intervention
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
Assist with the dietary needs of clients
Complete all required training
Other duties as assigned
License, Education, & Experience

High School diploma or equivalent
Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred
