Summary:
Under general direction, this role manages and directs the day-to-day administration and scheduling for work order requests for vehicles at Pyramid Healthcare. Responsible for optimizing the reloadable bulk transportation network nationwide through communication with terminals, local dispatchers, and third-party logistics providers. The position involves managing the Central Scheduling team members by establishing key performance metrics and ensuring that all schedules cover admissions and discharges, planning for all drivers within their assigned region.

Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, sometimes extending to 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm.
Pay:
$17.50 - $19/hr
Responsibilities:
Orient, train, and schedule drivers.
Staff the Transportation Department, including selecting, orienting, training, and scheduling employees; supervise drivers.
Complete all required reports associated with the Transportation Department.
Receive transportation calls/inquiries.
Attend required meetings.
Model appropriate driver skills to other drivers.
Respond to emergency situations.
Work independently as needed.
Lift up to 50 lbs. of force if necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience preferred, but not required.
Exhibit teamwork, confidentiality, and safety awareness.
Excellent communication skills and effective interpersonal relationships.
Calm and decisive in crisis situations.
