Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Wasilla, AK, for a Mental Health Clinician. Responsibilities include providing therapeutic support through assessments, individual and group counseling, and treatment planning for clients navigating mental health and addiction challenges. The clinician will contribute to case management, maintain accurate client records, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality care. The clinician will also participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic strategies and services.
Qualifications
Strong clinical skills, including conducting patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and formulating treatment plans
Proficiency in providing individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention services
Understanding of case management, documentation, and maintaining detailed client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively in writing and speech
Familiarity with addiction services and trauma‑informed care practices is highly desirable
Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent (or eligibility to obtain Alaska licensure)
Experience in mental health or substance use disorder treatment is a plus
Flexibility, empathy, and the ability to work in a dynamic, client‑centered environment
