Oncology Account Manager
Oncology is a core area of intensive focus at GSK. GSK’s US Oncology team is looking for an Oncology Account Manager to manage sales and business activities within a defined geographical area. This role will provide an opportunity to lead key activities and advance your career.

Responsibilities

Accountable for driving area sales results and ensuring open patient access to GSK therapies.

Develop and execute area business plans.

Identify and apply resources to the development of key prescribers and key account drivers within the area.

Engage proactively with key customers and account groups to promote GSK therapies and the company image.

Work cross‑functionally to maximize brand availability and exposure within key accounts.

Collaborate with the team and Regional Sales Director to ensure successful launch and ongoing promotion of branded products.

Engage with the Regional Sales Director and cross‑functional partners to develop programs and activities that increase customer access.

Basic Qualifications

4‑year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.

3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, or biologic/specialty sales experience, and/or 3+ years clinical oncology experience, oncology education, patient care skills, and direct physician interface.

Valid driver’s license and ability to drive or operate a vehicle; driving is an essential function.

Must live in the assigned geography; no relocation assistance.

Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including overnight and/or weekend travel up to 30% of time.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of oncology sales and/or specialty sales experience; health system/institutional experience is a strong preference.

Experience in hematology or solid tumor care settings.

Experience with infusion therapies or handling complex clinical logistics.

Familiarity with specialty pharmacy, payer engagement, or account‑based strategies.

Strong organizational skills to maintain high productivity, innovation, and priority‑setting, completing assignments on time and on budget.

Proven ability to think strategically and work with high integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Excellent oral and written communication skills for interfacing with all levels of management and departments within the company.

Work Arrangement
This is a field‑based role. Most work is conducted in the field across your assigned territory. You will travel regularly within the territory and occasionally beyond. Driving is an essential function.
