Clinical Manager - Assertive Community Treatment

Seacoast Mental Health Center is seeking a NH licensed mental health clinician to lead an experienced and successful team within the evidence-based Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program, providing intensive mental health services to individuals with severe mental illness in the community.

Position Summary
The Clinical Manager will provide clinical and administrative oversight of the ACT Program, delivering evidence-based services and ensuring compliance with Department of Health and Human Services requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train, and maintain a multidisciplinary mental health team.

Provide assertive community treatment to individuals with severe mental illness who have not responded favorably to traditional services.

Ensure adherence to ACT evidence‑based practice standards and the ACT Model.

Train and supervise staff to deliver ACT services.

Guarantee that client assessments, intakes, care plans, medication reviews, notes and all required documentation are completed per Department of Health and Human Services regulations.

Coordinate treatment and stabilization with other community service providers.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health/human services field and licensure as a Mental Health Professional.

3–5 years of progressive outpatient mental health experience, including direct supervisory experience and program development.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Valid full driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of evidence-based practices and the New Hampshire Community Mental Health system.
