Field Engineering Technician I — Construction & Inspections

SVCC is seeking an Engineering Technician I in Illinois to assist in the inspection, layout, and documentation of highway construction projects. The ideal candidate will have completed two years of college in civil engineering technology or have equivalent engineering experience. Responsibilities include maintaining records, updating the Resident Engineer, and ensuring compliance with safety rules. A valid driver’s license is necessary, and travel may be involved. This role is part of the rotational program for engineers.
