The Caregiver at NestVy provides compassionate, non‑medical care to clients in both private homes and residential care settings, supporting their physical, emotional, and daily living needs. This role focuses on helping clients maintain dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life through hands‑on assistance and personalized care. Caregivers assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, mobility support, and household tasks while collaborating with families and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Support patients to complete personal hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, toileting, shaving, dressing, etc.
Administer basic medical tasks like taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, replacing bandages and dressings, and ensuring proper use of medical devices.
Implement ambulation methods and assist patients in completing physical therapy and exercises as indicated in the care plan.
Mitigate medication issues by helping to open bottles, organizing self‑administered dosing, arranging for refills, and helping the patient with meal preparation and planning.
Perform light housekeeping tasks including but not limited to bed making, laundry, vacuuming, etc.
Sustain quality companionship and provide psychological and emotional support for patients and their family members.
Qualifications
Must have 1-3 years of experience as a personal caregiver, HHA/home health aide, nursing assistant, or personal care aid for a home health agency at patient homes or care facilities setting.
Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills.
Carry a valid state driver’s license, current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation.
Compensation
$19 - $22 hourly
