
Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,304 per week

Responsibilities
Role involves pediatric and adult outpatient, adult inpatient (acute hospital) care
Responsibilities include bedside swallow assessments and screens primarily
Will work between hospital and outpatient clinic
Small community hospital setting
Will float between hospital and outpatient clinic
Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
State licensure to practice SLP in Tennessee
Fully licensed with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
BLS certification required prior to start
Master’s Degree in SLP
1+ years of experience in specialty
Mix of adult (inpatient/outpatient) and pediatric experience preferred
Schedule Information
Shift: Days
Weekly guaranteed hours: 37.5
Weekend hours: Every other weekend/as needed
Occasional weekend call for hospital possible
Unit Specific Information
Facility Department/Cost Center: Speech Therapy
Number of openings: 1
Patient population: Mix of pediatric and adult
Common diagnoses/treatment: Pediatric developmental delay; Adult speech, language, swallow, cognition related to CVA, Parkinson’s, neurological disorders
EHR systems: Outpatient – Nethealth Redoc; Hospital – Medhost Experience
Supervisor: Director of Rehabilitation Services
Additional Information
Orientation is bi-weekly on Mondays
Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel
Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start date

Dress code: Any professional scrub color, closed-toed shoes; no other facility branded attire
