Jim Taylor Auto Group is looking for a full-time Quality Control Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to making sure every vehicle meets quality standards before it is returned to the customer.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, observant, mechanically aware, and motivated to help the service department deliver consistent, high-quality work. The right candidate enjoys catching issues before they become problems, supporting the team, and helping create a better overall customer experience.
Job Type: Full-Time. Pay: Performance-based pay with bonus opportunities for motivated team members.

Responsibilities
Perform final quality control inspections on completed vehicles before delivery
Verify repairs were completed properly and vehicles are safe, clean, and ready for pickup
Road test vehicles as needed to confirm repair quality and vehicle performance
Check warning lights, fluid levels, basic functions, and overall workmanship
Identify incomplete or missed items and communicate them clearly with technicians and service advisors
Help maintain consistency in repair quality and delivery standards
Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Contribute to a productive, team-focused service department
Qualifications
Automotive service experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and observational skills
Basic mechanical understanding and ability to identify concerns
Ability to communicate clearly with technicians and service advisors
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
