Responsibilities
Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for various patient populations in the acute care setting.
Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians).
Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility.
Understand state PT board rules and regulations; comply with state requirements.
Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care.
Understand adaptive equipment.
Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify it as indicated based on patient condition.
Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged.
State‑specific licensing and BLS certification.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.
Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 30 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Job ID #1398978.
