Nelbud is hiring a Maintenance Technician to service commercial kitchen ventilation systems. This role is similar to HVAC, but focuses on airflow, exhaust, and system performance—not heating or cooling.
If you have experience in HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or a related field, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine maintenance on commercial kitchen ventilation systems
Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and airflow issues
Replace filters and clean ventilation components
Complete service reports and maintain job documentation
Deliver strong customer service while representing Nelbud
What To Expect
Work independently across multiple job sites
Evening and overnight schedule (based on service needs)
Hands-on work in a fast-paced environment
Work on rooftops and in tight or confined spaces
What We’re Looking For
Basic mechanical or maintenance experience
Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, or similar field preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
Comfortable working evenings, nights, and in varying conditions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Requirements
Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and overnights
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
