Job Summary: Reporting to the Quality Manager the QC Lab Tech will conduct analysis of finished and in process samples for quality control. Examples include instrument calibration, wet chemistry methods, data entry, sampling, prepare samples for shipping, and stocking supplies.
Schedule for this role is 3:00pm - 1:30am Monday - Thursday.
Essential Responsibilities
Testing of in process and finished good materials by following test methods.
Calibrate testing equipment on regular basis.
Retain pertinent samples for 1 year.
Provide daily report on tested samples.
Request resamples from production when products are out of specification.
Maintain a clean, organized, and working laboratory.
Maintain records relating to all quality activities as documented in SOPs, test methods, reserve samples and batch related documents.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting.
Minimum Associates degree preferred.
Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Good verbal and written communication skills, multi-task oriented.
