Job Summary
The Paramedic will provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director and the charge nurse, monitoring patients and performing technical functions.
Responsibilities
Obtain and document vital signs and oxygen saturation.
Monitor cardiac systems and non‑invasive blood pressure.
Obtain 12‑lead ECGs, discontinue peripheral IVs, manage heparin/saline locks, and maintain specimens.
Assist with patient care: positioning, sterile dressings, immobilization, cast and splint application.
Perform basic psychomotor skills.
Assist wound care, Foley insertion, and nasogastric tubes.
Clean and stock carts, rooms, change linen.
Provide written instructions and educational materials to patients and families.
Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
Non‑violent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of start date.
PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of start date.
Paramedic certification.
One year of experience.
No travel required.
