Industrial Equipment Sales & Service (IESS) is looking for an experienced Field Mechanic to join our team. If you have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working on a wide range of oilfield equipment, we want to hear from you.
Position Overview
Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining oilfield equipment including pumps, diesel and natural gas engines, air compressors, light towers, heaters, and generators (100KW–600KW).
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues in the field
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance
Complete service reports and assist with invoicing
Maintain a clean and organized service truck
Communicate with customers regarding job progress and needs
Assist team members and perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience working on oilfield equipment
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with pumps, engines, compressors, and generators
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in field conditions
Basic computer skills
Must have own general tools
Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation
Must have valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass Drug Screening
