This assignment is in a hospital operating room setting with a busy, multi-specialty program including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. The program supports robotic surgery with two Davinci robots and a transplant program for livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities
Provide moderate sedation in the OR and assist as a circulating nurse; monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative events.
Support a wide range of surgical specialties: orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma.
Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia providers; ensure sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.
Assist with robot‑assisted cases using two Davinci systems; participate in multi‑service coverage and cross‑functional OR support.
Contribute to transplant procedures in the program (liver, kidney, heart) as needed; monitor telemetry as indicated.
Document intraoperative care and ensure accurate perioperative records.
Requirements
NY RN license (active).
Moderate Sedation Experience Required.
Interventional Radiology (IR) Experience Required.
Minimum 2 years OR experience; Level 1 trauma center experience highly preferred.
Telemetry knowledge.
Circulate ONLY in the OR.
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
