Clinical Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology (Full‑time)
Position overview: This is a full‑time (40 hours per week) day‑shift role with the opportunity for overtime and coverage of additional shifts. Schedule is 07:00–15:30 Monday‑Friday with on‑call requirements. The role is based at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida.
Responsibilities
Assume shift responsibility and accountability for the planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and care partners.
Coordinate multidisciplinary team members and direct nursing staff to achieve safe, optimal health‑care outcomes.
Support activities that align with the facility vision, mission, and goals.
Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, upholding Patient‑Centered Care principles and Service Excellence standards.
Responsible and accountable for all nursing care of Interventional Radiology patients, including technical and clinical assistance to cardiologists and allied professionals.
Cross‑train and float to other Imaging Service areas as needed.
Identify stroke symptoms, invoke stroke alert, administer NIHSS, monitor thrombolytic therapy, and prepare patients for endovascular treatment, maintaining annual stroke‑related training.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited (or NLN‑approved) RN program; BSN preferred.
Minimum of one year full‑time (or three years part‑time) experience in acute‑care specialty nursing.
Minimum of one year full‑time experience in Interventional Radiology Department.
One to three years supervisory experience preferred.
Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).
Current Florida nursing license.
Successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
