What You’ll Do
Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development and product launch.
Manage NPD (New Product Development) Process through required stages/gates including VOC, requiring cross‑functional coordination and accountability.
Determine profitable and competitive product pricing by utilizing market data, cost data and analyzing elasticity.
Manage forecasting, product stocking levels and procurement of third‑party products.
Conduct product and application training for Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Engineered Systems Distributors (ESDs) and Security Equipment Distributors (SEDs).
Participate in meetings with ESDs, Engineers and AHJs as required.
Manage marketing collateral materials – data sheets, manuals, etc.
Conduct market research and obtain feedback from clients to improve existing products.
Liaise with the production team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and effective solutions.
Maintain strong professional relationships internally and with customers.
Keep up to date with new company products as well as industry/competitor trends.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree required, preferably in Engineering/Technology and/or Marketing.
Product‑centric role for a manufacturing entity, preferably in fire or life safety.
Understanding of gated new product development process.
Aptitude for understanding a technical product line.
Ability to deliver technical sales presentations to customers at the executive level.

Location
This is a full‑time position, on‑site at our Maple Grove, MN location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
