
Admission & Business Operations Supervisor

The Admissions & Business Operations Supervisor is accountable for managing all aspects of the admissions, in‑house transfers, and discharge processes for the Skilled Nursing and Sub‑Acute programs. This role also provides oversight of key business office functions related to admissions, including coordination of payer authorization, contract alignment, census management, and accurate handoffs to billing and finance partners.
As the first point of contact and “face of Providence Mount St. Vincent” for many residents, families, hospitals, and referral partners, the Supervisor ensures a high‑quality, concierge‑level customer service experience from initial inquiry through admission and transition of care.
To be successful, the Supervisor works collaboratively with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, referral agencies, discharge planners, social workers, finance/business office teams, and internal interdisciplinary staff to achieve budgeted census levels, support compliant admissions, and ensure a seamless, compassionate admissions experience.
As needed, the Supervisor directs admitting staff to:
Coordinate timely, accurate, and compliant admission processes
Provide responsive, professional, and person‑centered customer service
Resolve admission‑related concerns and barriers promptly
Serve as ambassadors of Mount St. Vincent’s mission, values, and home‑like philosophy

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social/Human Services, Business, Marketing, Nursing, or a related field, OR five (5) years of experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Two (2) years or more years experience in a marketing and/or sales environment.
Strong concierge customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years experience in case management and contract management, along with experience in information systems, billing and analysis.
Two (2) years experience in long term care, clinical case management and admissions.
