Position Summary / Objective
KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as TRIDENT LOAD LIST AND COSAL SUPPORT manager for In-Service Strategic Submarines Program Office (PMS 396). This role supports a Department of the Navy (DoN) program office to ensure the acquisition, sustainment, and operability of all in‑service strategic submarines, currently the Ohio Class submarines and soon Columbia Class submarines. This position supports PMS 396 which is part of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Program Executive Office Strategic Submarines (PEO SSBN), and Team Submarine (TSUB).
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
Serve as the primary liaison between Submarine Fleet stakeholders, the NAVSEA and SSP Program Offices, and the NAVSUP and DLA supply communities to resolve complex maintenance and material challenges.
Execute in-depth research to identify impediments to supply support, and recommend or undertake interventions, when possible, to accomplish positive supply action. Interventions may include, but are not limited to,
identification of contracting actions requiring priority attention
coordination with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) advocates to positively influence supplier performance
coordination with cognizant inventory control point or In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) points of contact for alternate material resolution.
Assist in the identification of any financial programming and resourcing required to support the operation of the PMS396L3 Division.
Required Education and Experience
7+ year working in a related position.
5+ years working with the Department of Defense (DoD).
Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in a business or technical field.
Preferred Education and Experience
NAVSEA experience is preferred.
Submarine experience is highly desired.
Active Secret clearance is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
Working knowledge of various databases utilized in accomplishing the research required to understand, track/monitor and improve submarine maintenance including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP), eCANNAB, the In-Service Submarine and Sustainment Reliability Portal (ISARP), the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) suite of tools, Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP), and Submarine Maintenance Monitoring Information Systems (SMMIS) is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
Must be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative to operate in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
Competencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Great verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Understanding project management fundamentals to include critical path items, risk management, and long lead time items.
Work Authorization / Security Clearance Requirements
Active Secret clearance is required.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
The typical workday is eight hours in length, normal hours are 7:30 AM‑3:30 PM. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, with concurrence from the supervisor. The employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and must account for the hours in a pay period to maintain full‑time status.
Telework
Telework is not allowed for this position. However, that may change based on customer requirements.
Travel
No travel is expected with this position; however, it may be required at direction of NAVSEA customer.
