
Bilingual Medical Receptionist

Job Description
Handles high volume of calls, scheduling, and confirms benefits and eligibility prior to patient appointments. Entering authorizations and, at times, being pulled to cover as a front office receptionist through the clinic when there are PTOs. Verifying eligibility. Collecting co‑pays, completing check‑in process. Handling appointments, monitoring daily productivity, balancing batches, and confirming payments/co‑pays received at the end of day which require careful handling and are properly documented and allocated for.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and manage high volume of calls.
Schedule appointments and confirm benefits and eligibility prior to patient visits.
Enter authorizations and assist as front office receptionist as needed.
Verify patient eligibility.
Collect co‑pays and complete check‑in process.
Handle appointments and monitor daily productivity.
Balance batches and confirm payments/co‑pays received.
Requirements & Qualifications
Entry Level experience.
Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Knowledge of healthcare industry and customer service experience.
Ability to perform tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Job Type and Location
Contract to Hire position based out of West Covina, CA. Fully onsite.
Compensation and Benefits
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour.
