Job Summary
Up to $20,000 Sign‑On bonus based on experience.

Job Shift: Rotate.

Job Type: Full Time.

Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging Services, the Registered Nurse has an indirect reporting relationship to the C.N.O. Daily activities are coordinated through an RN Charge Nurse. The major goal of the Radiology Nurse is to provide quality nursing care to the patient. Skills utilized in his/her job performance include assessment, communication, teaching, leadership, and management. The nurse ensures patient privacy and dignity. Areas where the nurse may function are: General diagnostic, special procedures, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, computerized tomography, interventional radiology and magnetic resonance imaging. Fulfills on‑call and weekend requirements as required (applies to Interventional Radiology RN Staff only).

Qualifications

Minimum experience: 2–3 years in nursing; preferred experience in Critical Care, Radiology and/or Cardiology.

Licensed registered nurse in the State of California.

ACLS certification.

PALS certification.

Basic Dysrhythmia course.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing/walking.

Lift/position up to 50 lbs.

Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force.

Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, manual dexterity and mobility, touch, auditory and visual perception and acuity, adequate vocal pitch and volume, ability to move quickly.

Vision Requirements:

Normal vision with or without corrective lenses.

Working Conditions
Regularly exposed to the risk of contagious and blood borne diseases, subject to varying and unpredictable situations, exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness), emergency and crisis situations, subject to irregular hours, increased stress due to multiple calls and inquiries. Occasional exposure to radiation hazards, radioactive substances and biohazard material.
