Service Technician - Cortland Ten Mile

Role Overview
As a Service Technician, you help create a safe, well-maintained, and comfortable living environment for residents. You are responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks, supporting unit turnovers, maintaining community spaces, and delivering prompt, friendly, and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general apartment upkeep.

Complete make-ready tasks to ensure vacant units are clean, functional, and ready for new residents.

Maintain overall property appearance, including daily ground upkeep and trash removal.

Respond to resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Assist with preventative maintenance and seasonal projects assigned.

Report safety hazards, recurring issues, or larger maintenance needs to your supervisor.

Qualifications

1-2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or related work preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Basic knowledge of household repairs and use of hand tools (or willingness to learn).

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or within a team.

Strong customer-service skills and a professional attitude.

Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
