Associate Support Services Technician
Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a healthcare setting in the Midwest region. This role involves ensuring that operating rooms and common areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected according to strict infection control standards. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining cleaning equipment, properly handling and disposing of both regular and biohazardous waste, and adhering to all safety and infection prevention policies. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to support departmental goals.
Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. 2. Prior experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous. 3. Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus. 4. Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position on the second shift, offering approximately 37.5 hours per week.
