Key Responsibilities
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
Properly clean and disinfect equipment and supplies, maintaining their safe operation.
Handle and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste following established guidelines.
Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies at all times.
Collaborate effectively with team members while also working independently to fulfill department needs.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Previous experience in a related role is advantageous.
Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is a plus.
Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Work Schedule: Second shift, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
