Receiving And Shipping Clerk
Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Receiving and Shipping Clerk to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Perform receiving duties, including receiving, unloading, and processing of incoming shipments.
Check accompanying documentation against containers, shipping labels, manifests, and packing documentation.
Verify quantities, conditions, and shipment accuracy upon receipt.
Follow established procedures for reporting overages, shortages, damaged items, and shipping discrepancies.
Open containers and remove dunnage and other packing materials.
Segregate material according to material type, including equipment, consumables, narcotics, pilferable items, hazardous material, and other specialized stock.
Generate labels, routing documentation, and movement instructions in automated systems.
Route and/or move material to staging areas, receiving queues, or stow locations.
Assist with shipment preparation and outbound documentation as assigned.
Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records.
Support warehouse cleanliness and organization within receiving and staging areas.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Professional Associations)
Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience working in a warehouse receiving dock or logistics environment, performing the following duties: new receipt processing, material acceptance, quality control, inventorying, storing, packaging, shipping, processing returns, cold-chain material processing, hazardous material handling, controlled item
arcotic material handling, or shelf-life data input.
Experience verifying shipping documentation, manifests, and packing labels.
Experience identifying discrepancies in inbound shipments.
Experience using automated warehouse or inventory systems preferred.
Additional Requirements
A valid driver's license to drive up to a 1.5-ton stake bed truck and 4-6K forklifts for the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and furniture.
Ability to lift, move, and process incoming shipments and warehouse materials.
Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.
Strong attention to detail for documentation and shipment verification.
Ability to work in warehouse receiving and staging environments.
Clearance
Must be a United States Citizen.
Must be able to pass a background investigation (minimum T-1/NACI).
