We’re looking for a dependable
Equipment Readiness Technician
to support the maintenance and repair of MPW industrial equipment. This role ensures equipment is operational, safe, and ready for deployment by performing mechanical and electrical repairs in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Bring
Mechanical aptitude – Strong understanding of industrial equipment, pumps, and repair processes with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently
Self‑direction – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing shifting priorities
Communication skills – Clear and effective communication across shifts, departments, and leadership to ensure operational continuity
Adaptability – Comfortable working in changing conditions, responding to urgent repair needs, and supporting field operations when required
What You’ll Do
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure readiness and reliability
Diagnose and repair mechanical failures on pumps and related equipment
Complete major electrical repairs, including troubleshooting systems and components
Coordinate repair priorities with plant management to align with operational demands
Adjust work schedules as needed to respond to urgent equipment issues and downtime
Maintain accurate communication between shifts, including updates with supervisors, plant managers, drivers, dispatch, and mechanics
Support equipment training initiatives by learning MPW‑specific systems and repair procedures
Travel to field locations as needed to repair and maintain equipment on‑site
Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe, and organized facility
Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility and operational needs
What You’ll Need
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or industrial trade specialization preferred
3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in industrial or mechanical environments
Knowledge of pump systems, industrial equipment repair, and rebuilding processes
Familiarity with PLC systems and basic electrical troubleshooting
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive motions for extended 8–12 hour shifts
Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and travel to field locations as needed
