Description
As a Program Coordinator, this role is responsible for leading cross‑functional programs that support UAG’s aerospace repair and sustainment operations, ensuring commitments are met for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and compliance. The Program Coordinator collaborates with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales/Customer Support, and Finance to plan and execute programs from initiation through delivery, providing clear status, risk management, and action tracking. This role performs all functions with the objective of meeting internal and customer requirements, in accordance with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and export compliance requirements (including ITAR/EAR where applicable).

General Accountabilities

Own program scope, objectives, success metrics, and the integrated schedule; manage baseline changes through documented change control.

Lead cross‑functional execution across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales/Customer Support, and Finance to meet customer commitments and internal performance targets.

Develop and maintain program plans, milestones, deliverables, and readiness reviews; ensure requirements and responsibilities are clearly defined and communicated.

Track and report program health (schedule, cost, risks, issues, actions) using standard reports, dashboards, and tools; drive recovery plans when needed.

Own risk and opportunity management by identifying, assessing, mitigating, and escalating risks; maintain and execute risk burn‑down and contingency plans.

Manage program financials, including budget, forecast, and cost‑to‑complete (as applicable); partner with Finance to support accurate reporting.

Facilitate routine operating cadence (stand‑ups, program reviews, action tracking) and ensure decisions and commitments are documented and executed.

Coordinate with Operations and Shipping/Receiving to support build/repair flow, on‑time delivery, and customer priorities; proactively remove blockers and manage constraints.

Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, customer contractual requirements, quality system requirements, and export controls (ITAR/EAR) where applicable.

Support data accuracy and disciplined execution within business systems (including Pentagon or other company ERP tools) as required for program reporting and order/workflow visibility.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and improving program execution processes in partnership with functional leaders.

Provide clear, timely program information to leadership and customer‑facing teams to support decisions, priorities, and commitments.

Build strong partnerships with functional leaders and stakeholders; influence without authority to drive alignment, accountability, and delivery.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications and Skills

Experience: 5+ years of program/project management experience in an aerospace/aviation, MRO/repair, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a related field preferred.

Working knowledge of quality and compliance expectations in regulated environments (e.g., FAA repair environment, AS9100/ISO‑type systems, and customer requirements), as applicable to the role.

Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams, drive accountability, and execute through influence and structured problem‑solving.

Strong planning and analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project or similar).

Proficiency working with ERP/business systems; Pentagon experience (preferred).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑ready status reporting and customer‑facing updates.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and make data‑driven decisions under time constraints.

Understanding of regulatory and contractual compliance expectations, including export controls (ITAR/EAR) where applicable.

Physical Requirements

Ability to work in an office and/or production environment, including prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.

Ability to occasionally move materials or equipment up to 15 lb. (as required by the work environment).

Ability to meet applicable pre‑employment and ongoing screening requirements consistent with company policy and customer requirements.

Travel may be required (domestic and/or international) based on program and customer needs.
