Job Summary
The Biostatistics Center (BSC) is a research facility at George Washington University in Rockville, Maryland. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform database management, data editing and auditing for common measures; review output and reconciliation tables.
Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure protocol compliance.
Track regulatory submissions and approvals.
Maintain detailed knowledge of study protocols, manuals, data forms and other study documents.
Interact with study group members and local coordinating center team.
Collaborate with programmers and developers to maintain and test new features of the web‑based data management system; participate in related committees.
Write and review manuals of definitions and procedures for common measures; may create data forms.
Serve as liaison for the Publications and Presentations (P&P) and Junior Scientist committees.
Assist with acquisition and distribution of study materials and interaction with vendors.
Maintain study documents and documentation of changes; assist with final study documentation and archival.
Prepare procedural manuals and training for study staff; develop and present training sessions.
Assist with day‑to‑day study coordination and management; answer questions and solve problems.
Facilitate and plan consortium‑wide virtual and in‑person committee and study group meetings.
Participate in staff meetings and site visits that may require travel.
Perform other duties as assigned; duties may be logically related to the position.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualified candidates will hold a BA/BS and at least one year of experience in a related discipline. Degrees must be conferred by the start date of the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Science or math background.
Previous research experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Hiring Range: $18.06 - $33.02 per hour.
