PT Foreign Language Interpreters- All Languages
Chester County Intermediate Unit, Downingtown, PA, United States
At the present time, vacancies for Foreign Language Interpreter positions for all languages exist within the Student Services Division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. At this time, the CCIU is searching for candidates fluent in Nepali, Swahili & Portuguese.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
Fluency in Spanish required
Experience with educational interpretation strongly preferred
Original criminal history clearance, child abuse clearance and FBI fingerprint clearance (dated within the year), clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
Duties & Responsibilities
IEP meetings
Evaluations
In-home and classroom visits
Disciplinary hearings
Parent-teacher conferences
Open houses
PSSA/Keystone Exams
Schedule
Up to 260 Days/year, 5 days per week, 3 hours/day
Schedule will be as needed and on an on-call basis
Flexible based on the hours candidates are available
Hourly Rate
Support, Band 12: $26.55/hour - $33.19/hr.
Placement on salary scale determined based upon years of relevant experience*
Compensation provided for travel to and from meeting locations*
Location
IU Countywide, including:
CCIU campuses
Surrounding school districts
Online Meetings via Zoom
