Overview
Effective for the 2026‑2027 school year, vacancies for full‑time Speech and Language Therapist positions for school‑age exist within the Division of Student Services for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. These positions will serve school‑age special education students countywide.
Qualifications
Must have valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
Master's degree in Communicative Disorders
Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations, and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students including itinerant classrooms.

Salary 2026‑27 School Year
$74,415‑$107,845 - all SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders (Track I)
Placement on salary range is determined by years of experience
