Project Operations & Product Specialist
IDEAS, Minneapolis, MN, United States
Overview
IDeaS is a global powerhouse of innovation and excellence; challenge and reward. No matter where we’re working, our teams come together to create leading revenue management solutions that accelerate our clients’ growth through revenue optimization. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Strategy, Commercial Technology & Intelligence (CTI) and provides CTI-wide delivery enablement and project management expertise, supporting how commercial technology teams plan, coordinate, and deliver work across Quote-to-Cash, Product & Pricing, and Dashboarding & Insights. The primary purpose is to improve delivery maturity across CTI by embedding practical project management standards, coaching teams on effective ways of working, and supporting the use of modern delivery tools. The role is explicitly supportive and enabling, with accountability for outcomes remaining with CTI pillar and domain leads. In addition, the role provides delivery support for Product & Pricing-related Salesforce activities, ensuring work is well-planned, coordinated, tested, and aligned with agreed delivery practices. This is a senior individual contributor role with a broader scope than functional execution roles, requiring demonstrated project management experience and the ability to operate credibly across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
CTI Wide Project Management Enablement & Delivery Support: Act as a project management enablement resource across the entire CTI organization, supporting teams including Quote to Cash (QTC), Product & Pricing, CPQ, Dashboarding & Insights, and other CTI initiatives as they evolve.
Enable CTI teams to effectively project manage their own initiatives and processes, providing structure, guidance, and practical support while allowing domain leads to retain accountability.
Provide hands-on project management coaching and support, helping teams apply fit-for-purpose practices such as clear scoping and success criteria, work plans, milestones, dependencies, risk/issue/decision management.
Support medium to large, cross-functional initiatives by helping structure delivery plans, tracking progress, risks, and dependencies, preparing coordination materials and status updates.
Promote consistent use of project management standards, templates, and delivery practices across CTI, keeping processes pragmatic and lightweight.
Support CTI teams in the effective use of modern project management tools (e.g., Wrike, JIRA) by helping set up and maintain project spaces, boards, workflows, and dashboards, improving visibility into priorities, progress, and blockers.
Act as a coordination and consistency point across CTI initiatives to reduce duplication and improve alignment, and support project close-out activities including documentation, lessons learned, and recommendations to improve future delivery.
Product & Pricing Delivery Support (Salesforce)
Provide delivery and coordination support for Product & Pricing related Salesforce work, under the direction of Product & Pricing leadership.
Support activities such as product setup and maintenance, price book configuration, discount logic and pricing rules, product lifecycle and cleanup activities.
Ensure Product & Pricing changes are planned and coordinated effectively, tested prior to release, and documented and communicated appropriately.
Partner with Finance and Commercial Technology to support accurate execution of billing related configuration and revenue recognition updates.
